As I prepare to leave for Austin, Texas in a few days for my yoga training, I have been jotting down my thoughts and feelings in the form of poetry. These words are simply pure expression. They are not necessarily about yoga specifically, but are the thoughts that have arisen along with my current hopes of succeeding as a yoga teacher. Honestly, it may be hard to draw any correlation between the poems and yoga, but for me, the words speak my soul nonetheless. This soul is aligned in yoga.
Light + Snow
In light and snow I indulge in my true nature
To unconditionally love myself
Is forever indulging in this state
The shimmer of snow made visible by light
Is a glimpse of the vast soul within us all
A soft sparkle
What does it look like?
No form.
Vapor? Spirit?
The containing noncontainer. The ever pervading breath.
My eyes.
Your eyes.
...the feeling...
>inside<
<outside>
read between the lines.
Blue
Blue.
Every blueness has it's depth.
The melancholy emotional blues, the blueness of the boundless sky, the blue depths of a vast ocean.
Each expression of blueness is valuable and applicable to human, animal, US.
This collective beating heart and inevitable breath.
Blue is us as it beckons the soul to release into equilibrium as ethereal and solid, lofty yet grounded in
The human form.
Softness...
Oneness...
Blueness.

This photo captures light beams as they appear to strike rushing water. The natural wonder this evokes is indeed powerful for me. I feel great energy when I gaze at the light, and I am tuned into the movement within my own body as I observe this foamy, tossing, turning water. There is so much to be gained from watching the way water fills up a space and moves within it. To become water is to let go of a fixed notion, noticing that notions, thoughts, and feelings change with each undulation. Undulating, riding the waves of thought, is therefore an experience of freedom.
I find myself at the beginning. I have acquired certain knowledge of nutrition and health, but along the way have attached certain thoughts and feelings to this knowledge. I want and feel that I need to share what I know, and what I continue to learn with anyone who wants to listen and share back. We as true human beings are changing in every moment. I ask you to recognize your true nature, and not be content with hanging on to some old disfunctional idea of yourself. Allow everything to come in and continue its outward flow, like water through the dam.

Good Morning, Good Day, Good Life
Hello. How are you? Natalie Jean Yozzo is my name. I am happy to begin sharing my all inclusive self with you as the containing uncontainer. I intend to present an honest expression of my being. Ugly, beautiful, deep, shallow, pure, impure, inspiring, dull, everything and nothing in between it is all contained in this uncontainer.
